Platypuses

                                                      Facts about Platypuses.

1. Platypuses are the only mammals that lay eggs instead of giving birth to live young.
2. They have a bill, four legs with webbed feet, and a tail some what like a beaver. It's body is covered in brown fur.
3. Platypuses are very different mammals found in Eastern Australia.
4. The platypus is known to live for at least 12 years in the wild.
5. A platypus grows to a maximum weight of 1 to 2.4 kg.
