We found some Jack in the pulpits on the way
And some Morel mushrooms just what we were looking for! They are really fun to look for and we found all of the big patches of them in the woods near ash trees! When you see the May apples blooming that means the morel mushrooms are out.
We found 15 Morel mushrooms! (And had them for dinner last night!)
They were VERY good! (I love mushrooms!)
